What we compare for you
The right transport mode
A pallet network for a few pallets, part or full loads beyond that: we identify the most cost-effective mode for each flow.
The real cost per pallet
Rate by zone and number of pallets, fuel surcharge, tail-lift, booking-in, waiting time: everything is included so you can compare without surprises.
Service quality
Transit times, damage rate, tracking, handling of reservations and claims: we compare what matters to your B2B customers.
How is a pallet transport rate calculated?
The price depends on distance and delivery zone, the number and weight of pallets, whether they can be stacked, the transport mode and extra services (tail-lift, booking-in, city-centre delivery). For regular flows, a negotiated contract usually costs less than one-off quotes.
What to check in a pallet transport offer
- The mode: pallet network, groupage, part load or full truckload.
- Surcharges: fuel, tail-lift, booking-in, waiting time, difficult areas.
- Transit times promised and actually achieved, by destination country.
- Liability for damage or loss, and the reservation procedure.
- Contract terms: rate reviews, volume commitment, notice period.
Pallet transport across the UK and Europe
We run tenders for domestic and European flows (Spain, Germany, Italy, Benelux, Portugal, Switzerland…) as well as to and from the UK, where customs adds to transport. For parcel shipments, see also compare parcel shipping rates.
Pallet transport: frequently asked questions
Pallet network or dedicated load: which to choose?
A pallet network suits shipments of a few pallets, consolidated with other customers' freight. Beyond several pallets to the same destination, a part or full load often becomes cheaper. We compare both on your real flows.
Do you cover all of Europe?
We consult carriers for flows to and from the UK, France and the main European countries, including Switzerland.
What information do you need for a rate?
Origins and destinations, number of pallets per shipment and per month, their weight and dimensions, and delivery constraints (tail-lift, booking-in, time slots).
Who signs the carrier contract?
You do, directly with the chosen carrier. Log Market is not involved in carrier invoicing.
How much does the Log Market review cost?
Nothing: the comparison is free and without commitment.
